This course offers a good blend of challenging tee shots, with water in play on 8 holes, and some reachable par 5's. Well maintained and a great course to walk if you want a little exercise.

The site of the Long Beach Open, this course offers a challenge for all golfers. Tree lined fairways, plenty of water, dog legs, and traps to keep you guessing to the very last hole. There's even a great grill with fresh hamburgers and hot dogs at the turn.

With a demanding slope rating of 130, this 18-hole championship links-style course measures 6,909 yards from the tips and features narrow, rolling Bermuda fairways, over 70 bunkers, and well-guarded Bentgrass and Poa annua greens. The signature first hole is a 327-yard par 4 that requires a lay-up shot followed by a short iron over a large pond that guards the front of the green.

Long Beach is a short trip from Los Angeles and with the courses so close to each other, a 36 hole day at two separate courses wouldn't be out of the question.
